What Yoga means to me....

I came to Yoga as a man in his 40's trying to keep fit, hold down a job and look after a family. The idea of the Yoga was to try to help combat my stiffness and lack of flexibility and to help me relax. I attended my first Yoga class - and that was it, I was hooked. I was moving with a fluidity that I'd just not experienced before and there was a feeling of inner-calm that the class and the relaxation at the end of the session gave me. The Yoga has stayed wth me since that time and has become an ever more important part of my life.

I've been practising Yoga for around 15 years now and teaching for the last 10. As I entered my 50's and was looking forward to what I wanted to do with the rest of my life, I looked at various options, but the idea of teaching Yoga stayed with me. I wanted to continue to enjoy my Yoga and to share with others the way that Yoga makes me feel. Yoga isn't just for the fit and flexible, anyone can benefit - I'm keen to make it accessible to and enjoyable for everyone. Give it a try - you've nothing to loose and much to gain
